Disney Days

Yesterday, I went to Disney.com and signed my 7 year old cousin and I up for their Give a Day Get a Day Program. I don't think I would have signed up to receive something in return for volunteering if I had been planning this on my own, but I could use some Isabella/Vanessa Fun Time, and I've been wanting to take her to Disneyland for a while! We are making no-sew blankets for Project Linus. Well, Bella's going to make no-sew blankets. I may crochet a baby blanket because that's fun for me. For 2-3 no-sew blankets or 1 crocheted or knitted blanket, you are given a one day, one park pass to any Disney park. A great way to reinforce service and charity in the mind of a 7 year old. She's a sweetheart who would do it anyway, but I'm glad she'll get a treat from it. I'll keep you posted!
