I will feed you with rub downs

"We need to go online, find coupons, print 'em out, and make a frickin' GAME out of it."

-My mother

Dinnertime at our house has become something to look forward to. With the addition of 2 cousins, we actually eat at the dinner table. Cooking responsibilities have been split up between Nicole and I- Mondays and Tuesdays, she makes a meal, Wednesdays and Fridays are mine. Mother Margie can cook whenever she darn well feels like it, because she is The Mayor.

Last Friday, I forgot. It was my night for dinner, and I had taken Bella to Chuck E. Cheese's instead....so, I fed two of us, but failed to feed my mother. What. A. Heel. Ugh. Sometimes, I wish I could reverse and do everything properly, but I can't. In an effort to make her love me again*, I suggested some mother/daughter time in the form of massages at this small place I had visited with my main squeeze. We went, and laid down with community blankets spread over us, and got our bodies pummeled into boneless blobs. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and asked my mom, "So, what did you think?" (with a blissful smile on my face). My mom said, "Meh. I thought the place Bev took me for a massage was better."

Sigh. Oh, mother.

*My mother loves me. I get it. Any self deprecation is for story telling purposes only.

New Goal

One blog post per day.

They may not always be much, but I'm going to write every single day.

Ever since I have been out of the coaching world, I have noticed a drastic decline in my creativity. I never realized how much putting together routines or making up stunts or even rearranging the cheer room kept me even keeled. Out of my brain and into the world, Ideas.
Speaking of OGHS Cheer, I will be attending their CCS basketball game tonight. I'll be there with the fellow who bought me these for Valentine's Day:

You'll hear more about him later. He's the best.

Very half inspired

I cleaned my voicemail inbox today. There were 37 messages. All full up. Nobody has been able to leave a new message in months. For some reason, listening to voicemails as they come in is such a chore for me. Which is stupid, but there ya go. It has been so long since I have signed into my voicemail that I forgot which number to press to delete, so I had to listen to the whole first message to get to the options. It was from someone I used to spend a lot of time with, but who no longer fits in my life. Strange. Deleted.

A few messages were from a machine. Probably someone wanting the money I said I would pay. That's usually what "personal business matter" means. It's synonymous with "gimme those dollars, chumpenheimer." I'll get to it. I swear.

My favorite messages were from my best buds. I had 3 singing voicemails. 2 from Jess and 1 from Jenny. Jessica's voicemails are particularly artistic. Now that there is room in my mailbox, perhaps she will leave more for Nessacita. This is one song she sang to me:

Maybe I will call Jess today to sing to her.....mostly, though, she just says, "That hurts my ears."

It is morning time!

I have to leave for work in about 10 minutes.....currently, I am listening to Nicole ask Isabella, "Pants or a skirt?" to which Bella replies with a  loud, goose-honk type of noise. Must be some type of game, because it's happened like 50 times, and still, every time Bella honks like a weirdo, I laugh out loud. LOL, for anyone not hip to the lingo.

Speaking of not being hip to the lingo, Mother Margie has gotten a facebook. I am not saying anything about my opinion on that. My favorite thing she has done so far is tell Priscilla, "Thank you for noticing me on facebook."  Mothers: Infuriating and adorable.

Here is a picture of Molly being adorable:

Good morning!!!
