Baseball game! Giants vs. A's

We went to see some men play some baseball. My favorite part was tailgating!

Trevor's roommate, Geoff, created a ladder ball set. We played in teams. Trevor and I were undefeated.

There was food. There was friendship. It was good.

(Sidenote- while typing this very blog post, a bug crawled on me! YUCK.)

Just some more pictures...

Here is Trevor chasing Masha with tiny popping noisemakers.

An interesting delivery

It was the weirdest thing- Bella found a box addressed to me in the garage, with the following letter inside. If only I knew who had written it....if only I could tell them I already have a job!

After I read the letter, Isabella kept asking me if I had ever thought about looking for a job at the mall.

Babies that I love

About a year ago, two of my good friends had babies within a couple weeks of each other. Lucky for me, I got to spend some time with both of those little knuckleheads recently! And their mamas, too.

This is Julia. Sadie (her mama) invited me to join them at The Oakland Zoo. I hadn't ever been. And now I have. Check out some emu and wallaroos!

I'm not sure why I didn't take any pictures of the bigger animals, but seriously you guys- one of the elephants LOVED us. LOVED. US. We saw lots of animals, ate a lovely picnic lunch, rode a train through The Outback.....it was a busy day!

Then, of course, it was Ethan's birthday. Oh man. What a ham. I like him a lot. Jenny and family threw a wonderful party. The eats were great, the company was enjoyable and most importantly, Ethan liked the present I got him. Gifts are the most important thing in life. For instance, if people don't give you stuff how do you know they REALLY like you? You don't. See?

You ever heard of a Sing-a-majig?

Now Ethan KNOWS.

Aw.....blowing out candles!

It should be noted that my favorite part of the party was when Ethan hated his birthday hat. I am so mean.

SubZERO Festival, June 3rd

I attended my first SubZERO Festival here in San Jose, CA. Art, music, beer, food, people.

Trevor had to work, running sound for the main stage, so I entertained myself by checking out the other stages and rustling up a hot dog. You heard me. A hot dog. More on that in some other post.

I met up with one of my friends, Aaron. We went to check Ben Henderson out, because he is awesome at music. I like hearing people at the bar talk about "I know Ben. Oh yeah. Known him for years." You know why people want to be associated with him? I already told you- he is awesome at music! No doy!

Then we watched The Emerald Hill.

Hip hip hooray for good music in San Jose! So much fun to watch!

The night wound down, and it started to rain. It was no big thang, but Trevor's battery had died while his car sat in the middle of the audience for the first couple acts on the main stage..... it was pushed out of the way, but had to be pushed back towards my car for some jumper cable action rounds abouts 2 am. The slippery ground made it hard for Trevor and Ben to push, but some kind Groundwerks folk helped them out (while I sat inside, so cozy dry and steering). I actually wasn't cozy dry- I was a bit wet. Oh, San Jose rain....washing away the indiscretion that was my hot dog chowing....

Car love. Hella smoochkissing lips.

If you're into it, SubZERO information can be found here.
I mean, it already happened for this year, and I'm just kind of catching up, but STILL. You can go there and read about it. If you want.
